Born in 1949 in Trabzon, Ulusoy, graduated from İstanbul Economical and Commercial Science Academy in 1970. He had been working in other fields such as construction, shipping, transportation, and insurance before taking a step into tourism. He performed as TURSAB Executive Board Member and Treasurer Member in 1981. Becoming the President of TURSAB between 1991-1993, Ulusoy became the President of TURSAB for the second time in 1999. He still serves on Advisory Committee on Turkey Environment and Education Foundation, SKAL International (International Association of Travel and Tourism Professionals), Turkey Touring and Automobile Organization and as an Executive Board Member of DEİK.
