No wonder, the safest way to keep meetings is interactive. Virtual occurrences won’t travel anywhere in a predictable future. Many event owners have seen that this mass exercise in the simulated industry is a cheaper and more efficient approach for producing meetings.

This mass exercise with simulated activities has, however, also shown us that unique live event formats are badly required for us. Virtual suffered miserably at their substitution — advertising exhibits, conferences, incentives, academic meetings, and associations.

Zoom burnout is accurate, and research shows that all interactive interactions are not as good as live connections. The least scientist can even check this process by viewing children who interact at school vs. children who communicate with a simulated universe.

These few lessons warn us that the  pattern for virtual experiences integrating live and digital audiences would be 2021. At the end of next year we’ll potentially see overall events with a handful without online elements (and then if they were to do without one). The hybrid dynamic enables us to create live experiences in locations with little human constraints or group extension and requires a virtual audience that is initially larger. When the boundaries are increased for people, we should anticipate the equilibrium to pass to existence.

It is quite promising for the Global Tourism Forum to return to the stage in November 2020 with Recovery and Beyond. Recovery and Beyond is a hybrid experience taking the travel sector together in a one-day e-conference filled with online meetings from around the globe and the sector. Our aim is to aid the industry rebound from the cancelation of conferences all lost chances, unite the travel industry and plan for the day after COVID-19.
