Who is Mehmet Kasapoğlu?
Dr. Mehmet Kasapoğlu was born in Istanbul in 1976. He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of Business Administration. Kasapoğlu received his master’s degree in local administrations and decentralization program at the same university. Working as a researcher, expert and project coordinator at Florida State University Business School in the USA, Dr. Mehmet Kasapoğlu completed his MBA at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Dr. Kasapoğlu received his doctorate degree from Istanbul University with his work on local employment.
Actively involved in civil society organizations in Turkey and abroad student years, Dr. Kasapoğlu worked in the private sector in the field of international trade.
Dr. After Mehmet Kasapoğlu was appointed to the Prime Ministry Counselor in 2009, he assumed various positions in the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
During the Presidency of the Spor Toto Organization, Dr. Kasapoğlu especially focused on financing youth, education and sports activities and increasing sports employment.
He is married and has two children. Mehmet Kasapoğlu speaks English and Arabic.
