Born in Istanbul in Feb 1957, Pisces, he is married, has three children, loves to travel, first around the world at the age of 18 leading a group, ever since visited over 130 countries, sports fan; plays basketball, beach volley, soccer, tennis, golf, snowboarder, scuba-diving, skiing, windsurf and fitness gym. Dancing, music, flying, photo shooting, computer& internet world, wine and serious fun are among his hobbies.

Education
Ceylan studied at Saint Benoit High School, than graduated from Saint Michel. He has taken a certificate at Yale University as a PCO (Professional Congress Organizer). He had a degree of Business Administration at (Bogaziçi) Bosphorus University -1979), later graduated from New York University 1982) majoring in International Business, Finance and Marketing. During his career many other educational seminars and congresses run by organizations such as YPO, WPO, CEO, ICCA, ASTA, IAPCO, Fed Training, Microsoft, VIP Academy etc. CP speaks English, French, naturally speaks Turkish.

Work Experience
He started his business carrier when he was at high school: he organized trips and events, worked at his summer vacations at student travel offices in Istanbul and worked in congresses organized by VIP Congress during high school and university years. Established Congress Tourism event company… While studying at the university in USA, he established VIP New York and worked until 1979 to 1984 promoting tours to Turkey as the president of the company. After terminating his military services took Managing Director Position and led the company until 1995. He initiated a consortium of travel companies that organized United Nations Human Settlement Conference Habitat II with participation of 20.000 people. Continued to organize international events state organisations including OSCE in 99, ITU 2000, IOSCO 2002 and many others as CEO. From 1996 to 2013 Ceylan Pirinçcioğlu served as CEO of VIP Tourism and VIP MICE (meeting, incentive, congress, and event). VIP organized over 3500 events, incentives and congresses since its inceptions in 1968 as the leading and the pioneer in MICE (Meetings, Incentive, Congresses and Event) business. VIP has over 60 team members, has 3 offices, over 60 sales points and 3 representations Europe, USA, Asia… He initiated the space travel idea in the region and represents Space Expedition XCOR, Ceylan Pirinçcioğlu is the Executive Chairman of VIP Group since September 2013. He initiated a conference with vision of Istanbul to be one of the leading Financial Capitals of the World… The III. Capital Markets Congress will be held on 3-4 of November 2016 hosted by the Turkish Capital Markets Association.

Memberships
Founder of the Young Executives and Businessmen Association in 1986, where he served as a board member for over three terms; YPO where he served on board for three terms and President for one term. He had the membership of the following organizations and associations during his professional years SITE, Skal, Türsab, Türsav, USTOA (allied), ASTA, JATA, KATA, ICCA, Euromic, TABA (Turkish American Businessmen Association), SKAL, YPO & WPO and CEO. In diplomatic circle he served as the Honorary Consul General of Liberia in Turkey for 9 years. He initiated a group to Promote Istanbul as a world city Istanbul Forum and worked in at the Second Tourism Council of Turkey as the Vice President for Istanbul Destination Promotion. He is one of the founding members of the ICVB (Istanbul Convention and Visitors Bureau) where he has been elected in 2004 as the Vice President of the Executive Committee. 2007-09 He served as the President of Asta ( American Society of Travel Agents) Turkey Chapter. During his presidency Turkey was chosen as the host Country of ASTA – International Destination EXPO 2010 in İstanbul, at the time when Istanbul cultural capital of Europe. He served as Vice President of TABA – Turkish American Businessmen Association and Board Member for CEO Organisation- USA.
