Christophe Draye has more than 16 years of experience working with the world’s leading event production, content and management companies. Christophe specialises in brand development and international strategy, helping grow companies like Production Resource Group (PRG), GL Events, Filmmaster and Cirque du Soleil into the international powerhouses they are today. Currently, Christophe is Vice President of Business Development for FiveCurrents with a focus on global sport and special project events.

Over the past five years, Christophe has overseen the development of numerous companies within the UAE. His experience in the Middle East began with GL Events, where he was the Director of their Abu Dhabi branch, leading the events teams for shows including Qatar’s Asian Football Cup 2011, the Qatar Motor Show 2011, the Dubai Global Energy Forum 2011, Abu Dhabi’s MH Gala Awards 2011, Qatar’s World Petroleum Congress 2011, the Volvo Ocean Race sailing event in Abu Dhabi 2011 and Abu Dhabi’s Pool & Spa Show 2012. Christophe moved on to become the Director of PRG’s Middle East Operations, where he developed and led the company’s operations in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. Some of the shows executed under Christophe’s leadership include the Arab Gulf Cup 2013 Opening Ceremonies, the Guinness-Record setting firework show for Kuwait’s 50th anniversary and the Qasr al-Hosn Festival 2013 in Abu Dhabi.

Christophe has also acted as the Director of Sales & Marketing for Filmmaster’s Dubai branch, winning the company Kuwait’s 50th Anniversary Celebration and the Dubai Plan 2021 Launch Event. Most recently, Christophe was the Executive Director of Business Development for Cirque du Soleil’s special events branch, 45 Degrees. During his time with Cirque du Soleil, Christophe fostered partnerships with sports organisations and global brands to create one-off shows, such as the NBA 2016 All Star Game Opening Show and La Forge Aux Etoiles at Futuroscope Theme Park in France.
