Mr. Emin Cakmak worked as a chief executive officer in multicultural environments for 20 years. During that same period, he led his family’s company in the tourism and travel industry as the company’s general manager. Mr. Cakmak’s experience also includes acting as founding partner for multinational companies through his skills as an industrialist. In 2005 with 32 stakeholder members, Mr. Cakmak established the Turkish Healthcare Travel Council (THTC) and became founding chairman. In 2013, he invited 38 medical tourism destination countries to establish the Global Healthcare Travel Council (GHTC). Upon the successful creation of GHTC, He served as founding chairman for the first term from 2013 to 2014. During the second term from 2015 to 2016, he served as president. He now holds the position of honorary and founding chairman for GHTC.
