He was born in Malatya Darende in 1966. He finished his primary and secondary school in Istanbul. In 1990 he graduated from Uludağ University Medical Faculty. 1990-1992 he worked part-time as a nurse in Diyarbakır Lice.

In 1992 he started his career in Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Hospital Urology deparment. In 1997 he became a Professional of Urology. In 2005 he got a title of Docent in Urology. In 2006 he was appointed as Head of nursery and Urology clinic of Ümraniye Education and Research Hospital. In 2012 he became a professor of Urology.

He is a member of Turkish Urology Association and Eurasian Urooncology Association Board and Head of Robotic Surgery Association.

He is married and has two daughters.
