Born on July 2, 1985, and Mexican citizen. Before joining HNA Group in 2013, Iran Monroy served for different positions in the Mexican public and private sectors during different periods, including Trade Official for the Ministry of Finance, and Economic and Commercial Liaison for the Minister of Foreign Affairs. In 2013, Iran joined the HNA Group and specialized in brand equity and corporate communications. He has been responsible for the internationalization of the HNA Tourism Group and member brands, which has become one of the world’s most dynamic and fastest growing tourism investment and management conglomerates. Since 2016, Iran leads the global branding practice of Deer Jet, the private jet company in China. His vision is to transform the Deer Jet brand into an icon of luxury by making travel an art. Iran has a Master of Science in World Economy by Beijing Normal University and is fluent in Spanish, English, and Mandarin. He currently lives in Beijing, China.
