CEO and General Manager of Hotel Spec Mark Martinovic is a hotel development specialist with over 23 years experience in hotel management, design, development and refurbishment of hotels throughout sub­Saharan Africa.

As founder and Managing Director of Hotel Spec he grew up in a hotel from the age of 5 and after obtaining a degree in hotel management, went on to manage hotels in South Africa and the UK for 13 years before founding Hotel Spec in 2003.

Since 2015 he has been also the CEO of Hotel Partners Africa, an alliance of the four leading hospitality consultants in Africa. As Head of Construction and Design, Mark’s role is to lead the development management of hotel projects.
