
OLIVIER LAMBERT
Olivier Lambert is the World Bank country manager for Angola and Sao Tome & Principe. A French national, Lambert joined the World Bank Group in 1993. He has since held various positions in the World Bank Group.
Previous positions include IFC investment officer in the Middle East and North Africa region, senior country officer at the World Bank and senior financial sector specialist in the Africa region and the East Asia and Pacific region. At MIGA, Lambert served as the finance and telecom sector leader, the regional manager in charge of business development in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the lead operation officer in charge of monitoring the MIGA portfolio.
Lambert has worked on project finance, private and financial sector development, and political risk insurance. He holds an MBA from Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD), and an engineering degree in agricultural sciences from Arts et Métiers ParisTech (ENSAM).
