URKEN BISAKAYEV

Vice Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan

By a decree of the Government, Urken Bisakayev was appointed vice minister of culture and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Urken Bisakaev was born Sep. 24, 1977, in the West Kazakhstan region. He graduated from the Satpayev Kazakh National Technical University, Caspian State University named after Yesenova.

In various years, he worked in the commercial sector. In 2007-2010, he was chief inspector, head of the organizational and control department of the akim of the Mangystau region.

In 2010-2012, he was deputy akim of Aktau. In 2012-2017, he was head of the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways of the Mangystau region.

In 2016-2017, he served as deputy akim of Aktau.

In 2017-2018, he headed the Department of Tourism of the Mangystau region.

In 2018-2019, he was deputy akim of the Mangystau region.

Since May 2019, he was chairman of the board of NC Kazakh Tourism JSC.
